A Mumbai special court permitted the defreezing of bank accounts held by actor Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and mother Sandhya. The accounts were frozen by NCB in 2020 during the probe into Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The court allowed the release after finding that the NCB had not followed the required legal procedure for freezing the accounts.
