Rhododendron arboreum blooms in Himalayas: Is it a warning sign?

The Himalayan "Buransh" (Rhododendron arboreum) is blooming 2-4 weeks earlier than usual across regions such as Uttarakhand and Sikkim. Scientists say this shift in flowering time may be linked to rising temperatures, warmer winters, and ecological imbalance. Because these flowers are sensitive to environmental changes, unusual blooms are being viewed as a nature warning about climate stress.
