Rice prices rise for fourth time in four months, pulses up

Rice prices have increased for the fourth time in four months, putting additional pressure on household budgets. Sona Masoori prices have risen to ₹83 to ₹88 per kg, while Rajamudi has reached ₹150 per kg. Toor dal prices have also increased from ₹110 to ₹150 per kg, with poor rainfall, lower paddy yield and supply shortages contributing to rising food costs.
