22 US states file lawsuit to block Donald Trump's move to end birthright citizenship

Attorneys General from 22 US states, including New York and California, have sued to block President Trump's executive order that seeks to eliminate birthright citizenship. "The executive order is blatantly unconstitutional and...un-American," California Attorney General Rob Bonta said. The policy grants US citizenship to anyone born on US soil, regardless of their parents' immigration status.
