Rippling counter-sues AI startup Runlayer for infringing data patents

HR tech firm Rippling sued AI startup Runlayer in a US court on Monday for allegedly ​infringing its data-related patents. Rippling asked ​the court ​for monetary damages and an order blocking Runlayer from infringing its patents. The lawsuit follows a complaint filed by Runlayer ​last month that accused Rippling of stealing its ​trade secrets to "clone" its platform.
