Rishabh Das sets new national record in 200m backstroke at Asian Games

India's Rishabh Das set a new national record in the men's 200m backstroke finals at the Asian Games 2026 on Friday. He clocked 1:58.77s to finish sixth in the final, improving his previous national record of 1:59.84, set earlier this year at the Sydney Open 2026. Meanwhile, Utkarsh Patil finished seventh in the final, clocking 2:00.94.
