River home to 500 crocodiles chosen as Olympics 2032 rowing venue

Fitzroy River in Australia's Queensland, home to about 500 saltwater crocodiles, will host rowing and canoeing events at the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics. After an assessment, the course was found suitable under different weather, water level and flood conditions. The location can "provide a safe, fair and consistent field of play suitable for rowing," according to the assessment.
