According to a report, both players woke up on Wednesday morning with "light flu and low fever" and were first advised to miss the training session. Both have tested negative for COVID-19, it added. After a court ordered an FIR against ex-SEBI chief Madhabi Buch and five other officials over alleged stock market fraud, SEBI said it would initiate legal steps to challenge the order. "Even though these officials weren't holding their respective positions at...relevant point of time, the court allowed the application without issuing any notice...to SEBI to place...facts on record," it added.

A special court in Mumbai has directed the Anti-Corruption Bureau to lodge an FIR against former SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch and five others over alleged stock market fraud. "There is prima facie evidence of regulatory lapses and collusion, requiring a fair and impartial probe," the judge said. Moreover, the court said that it will monitor the probe.

Amid controversy over India playing all their matches at one venue in Champions Trophy 2025, former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq said that other countries should stop sending their players to IPL. The mother of Congress worker Himani Narwal, whose body was found in a suitcase in Haryana, has claimed that her daughter was thinking of quitting the party. "There were several people within the party who were unhappy with her success," Narwal's mother said. She added that she wouldn't perform her daughter's last rites till the police arrest the culprits.
