The Supreme Court has sentenced ex-RJD MP Prabhunath Singh to life imprisonment in connection to the 1995 double murder case. SC also directed Singh and the Bihar government to pay ₹10 lakh each to the families of two deceased and ₹5 lakh to an injured person. Singh had killed two people in Chhapra for not voting as per his suggestion.
