Tejashwi Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has approached the Supreme Court challenging the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) directive to conduct a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal will represent the RJD and has sought an urgent hearing on the matter. The state is slated to go to the polls later this year.
