RJD's Osama Shahabuddin has won the Bihar elections from Raghunathpur by 9,248 votes. He defeated JD(U)'s Vikash Kumar Singh and Jan Suraaj's Rahul Kirti. Osama, who made his election debut, is the son of the late don-turned-politician Mohammad Shahabuddin, four-time MP and two-time MLA. He will succeed two-time RJD MLA Harishankar Yadav. UP CM Yogi Adityanath called Osama a "mafia".
