Kamala Laxman, author of children’s books and wife of cartoonist RK Laxman, passed away due to old age on Saturday in Pune. She had authored the famous stories of Tenali Raman, that were later serialised on Doordarshan, among others. Her demise comes 10 months after RK Laxman died in January this year.
