RNA may have come from space: Study

Under conditions similar to ancient times, researchers mixed ingredients like sugars and minerals and created basic parts of RNA in lab. Backing up this experiment, NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission, which found ribose (important sugar for RNA) in samples from asteroid Bennu, suggests a massive space rock might have hit Earth billions of years ago and dropped these ingredients that created RNA.
