Robinhood will fire 23% of its workforce three months after it announced to slash 9% of its full-time staff. In a blogpost, Robinhood's CEO and Co-founder Vlad Tenev took responsibility for the apparent over-hiring in 2021. "We are operating with more staffing than appropriate. This is on me," Tenev said. During April layoffs, the company was left with 3,100 employees.
