Roblox to take cut from in-game brand deals starting 2027

Videogame platform Roblox will take a portion of revenue from in-game brand deals starting next year as part of a major overhaul of its advertising policies. Additionally, content will be labelled as an ad if it involves compensation from a brand or promotes an off-platform product. Roblox said the measures aim to end a "race to the bottom" on pricing.
