Robot-aided surgery saves pancreatic patient

Doctors at Fortis Hospital Vasant Kunj successfully treated a 51-year-old man with Walled-Off Pancreatic Necrosis, a rare and life-threatening complication of pancreatitis, using robotic surgery. The minimally invasive procedure drained infected fluid with high precision, reducing surgical risks and enabling faster recovery. The patient was discharged in stable condition after eight days.
