A US-based company bought a 32-kg humanoid robot its own flight ticket for work-related travel after its transport case was deemed too heavy for checked baggage. The robot was strapped into its seat before cabin crew began questioning its lithium batteries. The batteries were then deemed over the legal size and confiscated, which delayed the plane for over an hour.
