Twenty-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer on Thursday announced his retirement from professional tennis aged 41. He stated the Laver Cup that will take place in London next week will be his last ATP event. "This is a bittersweet decision...because I'll miss everything the tour has given me," Federer said. Federer last played a competitive match at Wimbledon last year.
