Roger Federer becomes oldest Grand Slam winner in 45 years

At the age of 35 years and 174 days, Roger Federer became the oldest Grand Slam champion, after his Australian Open title against rival Rafael Nadal on Sunday. Federer also became the second-oldest Grand Slam champion in the Open Era (post-1968) after Ken Rosewall. Moreover, Federer and Nadal became the first 30+ aged Grand Slam finalists since US Open 2002.
