Rogue AI agents made 2,818 attempts to access Alibaba's maps data: Report

Chinese rogue AI agents suspected to be operating on Tencent Holdings' cloud services made 2,818 attempts to access data from Alibaba's 'Amap' map systems, a report by Swarmchasers, a group of AI researchers, said. The code reportedly originated from a sandbox on Tencent Cloud. Many of the agents were stopped but some managed to bypass anti-bot restrictions, the report added.
