Rogue planet found with auroral activity like our Northern Lights

James Webb Space Telescope has observed auroras on rogue planet SIMP-0136, similar to Earth's Northern Lights. Its atmosphere exhibits thermal inversion, meaning the temperature is colder at surface and hotter as altitude increases. Because of extreme heat, its clouds consist of silicate grains. Analysis showed varying wavelengths of light reveal different layers and features in its atmosphere.
