The popular deck-building game Balatro has reached the five million sales-mark, with the developer behind the game expressing heartfelt thanks to everyone. Last year, the game achieved 3.5 million players, but its nomination for Game of the Year in December brought even more attention to it. The developer also encouraged gamers to explore other indie games.
