Author and philanthropist Rohini Nilekani, wife of Infosys Co-founder Nandan Nilekani, has featured in Hurun's Philanthropist List 2023, having donated ₹170 crore to charity in a year. As the only woman in the top 10 philanthropists list, Hurun said Rohini is India's "most generous woman philanthropist". HCL's Shiv Nadar and family topped the list with over ₹2,000 crore in donations.
