Rohit reaches 7,000 runs as opener in ODI cricket, breaks world record

During his knock of 42 runs off 44 deliveries in the second ODI against Australia at Rajkot, Rohit Sharma reached 7,000 runs as an opener in ODI cricket. The 32-year-old broke the world record for being the fastest batsman to reach the milestone. Rohit scored 7,000 ODI runs as opener in 137 innings, breaking Hashim Amla's record (147 innings).
