Rohit Sharma becomes first active cricketer to be named T20 World Cup ambassador
ICC Chairman Jay Shah on Tuesday announced that T20 World Cup 2024-winning India captain Rohit Sharma has been appointed the tournament amabassador for T20 World Cup 2026. With this, Rohit has become the first active cricketer to be named T20 World Cup ambassador. Rohit, who has retired from T20I and Test cricket, plays ODI format.
