India captain Rohit Sharma on Sunday broke the world record for smashing most ODI sixes in a calendar year. With his first six against Netherlands in their World Cup 2023 match, the 36-year-old took his tally of ODI sixes in 2023 to 59. He overtook ex-South Africa captain AB de Villiers, who held previous record with 58 sixes in 2015.
