Rolex's worst seller sold for $17.8 mn: JWC founder Mehta
Gaurav Mehta, founder of Jaipur Watch Company, said on the podcast that the Rolex Daytona was one of the brand's worst-performing models until Paul Newman's personalised piece went to auction. Bought for about $200, it is worth $17.8 million today. One watch made the entire Daytona line iconic, he said.
