British luxury car and aero-engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce successfully tested an aircraft engine run on hydrogen. The company said that it conducted a test with a converted Rolls-Royce AE 2100, a regional aircraft engine and used green hydrogen energy created by wind and tidal power. Rolls-Royce conducted these tests in partnership with easyJet Airlines in an attempt to decarbonise air travel.
