Journalist Mark Ogden said Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, should be dropped from starting XI and should be used as an impact substitute as he's now a "hindrance rather than a help" for Portugal in Euro 2024. He stated that Ronaldo has same age as Wayne Rooney (38) who is "now sitting on a sofa in a BBC studio".
