After conducting a ground assessment on Darcha-Shinkula road up to Shinkula pass on February 26, the Lahaul and Spiti police issued a fresh travel advisory yesterday warning that the route remains extremely hazardous despite being restored for limited movement. The highway, which had been blocked following heavy snowfall on January 23, has now been reopened strictly for 4x4 vehicles.
