A row erupted in Tamil Nadu Assembly after AIADMK MLAs raised the kidney transplant racket issue, which affected power loom workers in Namakkal and Pallipalayam areas few months ago. Ex-CM Edappadi K Palaniswami moved a calling attention motion in the matter, to which State Health Minister Ma Subramanian said the government cancelled the transplantation licences of two concerned hospitals.
