An analysis of attendance data of both Parliament Houses since 2009 shows that the Rajya Sabha recorded the lowest attendance of 62% on Fridays this year. Further, the average for other days this year has been over 70% which is lower than the 2009-17 average of around 75%. Notably, the Lok Sabha's average Friday attendance has been 66% since 2009.
