RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale issued a statement and called Ram Mandir donation scam "unfortunate". "[It has] wounded the sentiments and reverence of the entire society and Ram devotees, and we are all hurt by this event," he said. Asking the Ram Mandir trust to treat this incident as "exception", he urged them to address all deficiencies in the arrangements.
