The Jharkhand government on Thursday reduced the price of the RT-PCR test for COVID-19 detection in private labs to ₹300 from the existing ₹400. Separately, it also reduced the price of the Rapid Antigen Test from ₹150 to ₹50. Collection of samples from home for an RT-PCR test will cost an additional ₹100. The order comes into effect immediately.
