Early on Sunday morning, Portuguese footballer Ruben Semedo was taken into custody on charges of domestic assault. According to Correio do Manha, the 30-year-old Al-Khor player from Qatar allegedly assaulted and imprisoned his 30-year-old girlfriend at their home. After escaping, the woman reported that Semedo had attacked her on Saturday night and filed a police complaint.
