The rupee opened 9 paise higher at 93.28 against the US dollar on Thursday, as oil prices continued to trade below $100 a barrel amid hopes of US-Iran peace talks. It closed at 93.37 on Wednesday. Brent crude, which had jumped above $100 after initial talks in Pakistan failed, is trading at around $94 per barrel.
