The Indian rupee strengthened against the US dollar in early deals on Wednesday amid lower crude oil prices, even as traders remained cautious due to continued foreign fund outflows and global tariff-related concerns. Foreign institutional investors sold equities worth ₹1,499.81 crore on Tuesday, exchange data showed.
