Rupee strengthens to 95.59 against dollar on lower oil prices

The Indian rupee closed at 95.59 per dollar on Tuesday, up from 95.81, aided by a dip in global oil prices to $98 per barrel. The RBI and state-run banks sold dollars near the 95.85 mark to curb volatility and support the currency amid corporate dollar demand.
