The rupee suffered its worst monthly drop of around 2% in July in nearly three years amid US tariff concerns and portfolio outflows, Reuters reported. This comes after US President Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff and penalty on India, which saw the rupee falling to a five-month low of 87.74 against the dollar the same day.
