Indian rupee registered its biggest single-day gain in over two years on Friday after appreciating around 73 paise to close at 85.2125 against the US dollar, Moneycontrol reported. Rupee's last biggest single-day gain was on November 11, 2022, when it appreciated around 99 paise. Meanwhile, it had depreciated 36 paise to close at 85.95 against the USD on Thursday.
