Russia reportedly became India's largest supplier of crude oil in October. India imported 1.07 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude from Russia last month, up nearly 5% from 1.02 million bpd in September, as per estimates by cargo tracking and analytical services provider Vortexa. However, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri recently said Iraq was India's largest supplier last month.
