Russia announced a ceasefire in the war with Ukraine, from midnight on May 8 until May 10, to mark the country's 81st Victory Day. This time the victory day parade will be held without tanks, missiles, or other military equipment, the Russian Ministry of Defence said. The ministry added, "Any violations by Ukraine will be met with an appropriate response."
