Russia has lost $860 million this year due to internet shutdowns: Report

A report by an independent research firm Top10VPN.com has revealed that a deliberate internet outage has led Russia to lose $861 million since January 2022. Ranking at the top spot, Russia is followed by Kazakhstan's losses at $429.5 million. As per NetBlocks, this cost represents how much a country's population could lose from censorship of the internet and social media.
