Russia's Justice Ministry has added Mikhail Kasyanov, who has served as the country's Prime Minister in the past, to list of "foreign agents". Kasyanov had served as President Vladimir Putin’s first PM but then became one of his opponents. The law in Russia allows for organisations and individuals who obtain foreign funds or support to be designated a "foreign agent".
