Russia has lifted its ban on charter flights to Turkey, according to the Russian government's website. Russia had banned such flights after a Russian air force jet was shot down by the Turkish military last November. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has since apologised for the incident and the leaders of the two countries have reportedly started restoring bilateral ties.
