In a rare move, Russia has reportedly offered its Su-57E stealth fighter jets to India with complete access to their source code. The proposal would allow India to fully customise the jet, integrate indigenous weapons and alter its systems at will, giving India unprecedented autonomy over fifth-generation stealth platform. This comes as US pitched F-35 Lightning II to India.
