Russia responded to the West's concerns over India joining Russia and Belarus in Zapad military drills near NATO border and said that their drills have never been directed against third countries. "It's just another form of brazen pressure on our Indian friends...When will the West understand the futility and ridiculousness of trying to dictate...powers like India," it stated.
