Russia takes control of Ukraine's 'Niu-York'

The Russian military said on Tuesday that its forces had taken control of the town of Niu-York in eastern Ukraine. The town is a strategically important logistics hub with a pre-war population of just under 10,000 people. The development comes amid Ukraine's counter-offensive operation in Russia's Kursk region, wherein Ukraine has claimed to have occupied 92 settlements.
