Russia-Ukraine war casualties reach 1.8 mn after 4 yrs of fighting

About 1.8 million soldiers have been killed, wounded or gone missing in the four years of the Russia-Ukraine war, according to a recent CSIS report. Russia reportedly suffered around 1.2 million casualties, including up to 3,25,000 deaths, while Ukraine is estimated to have incurred 5,00,000-6,00,000 casualties, with up to 1,40,000 deaths.
