Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in North Korea on Saturday for a three-day visit in the latest visit by a senior Russian official to the country, North Korea's state media KCNA reported. Notably, Moscow and Pyongyang had signed a defence pact last year, after which North Korea deployed troops to help repel large-scale Ukrainian incursion into Russia's Kursk region.
